The INSPIRE scheme operates across four distinct educational tiers designed to identify talent early and support researchers through their formative careers:

INSPIRE-MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge): Targeted at school students aged 10–17 (Classes VI–XII), this tier fosters original critical thinking. Participants receive seed support and opportunities to build working prototypes for local and national exhibitions.
