On the occasion of World TB Day 2026, the HP Chapter of IAPSM, in collaboration with the State Task Force on Tuberculosis, successfully organized a short video competition for MBBS and Ayurvedic students across the state.
We are delighted to share that the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and innovative efforts aimed at spreading awareness about tuberculosis. After a rigorous and impartial evaluation process, the winners have been declared:
- First Position: Niraj Kumar (IGMC Shimla)
- Second Position: Sakshi Thakur (Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Paprola)
- Third Position: Akshit Sharma (IGMC Shimla)
The winners will be awarded cash prizes of ₹10,000, ₹7,500, and ₹5,000 respectively, along with certificates of appreciation.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their commendable efforts in raising awareness about TB. Such initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening our collective fight against tuberculosis.
We also express our sincere gratitude to the State Task Force on Tuberculosis and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of this event.
