PharmaJet’s Tropis needle-free system is set to revolutionize Pakistan’s polio vaccination campaign, targeting 1.8 million children in Lahore with fractional-dose inactivated polio vaccine (fIPV) for those up to age 15. This move follows a rise in wild poliovirus cases and aims to boost immunity using a WHO-prequalified, pain-free method that has already delivered over 12 million pediatric injections across Pakistan, Nigeria, and Somalia.

The Tropis system has proven to increase vaccination coverage by over 18%, cut costs by up to 47%, and is preferred by 97% of healthcare workers and nearly all caregivers. By eliminating needles, it enhances safety, speeds up administration, and improves public acceptance—key to eradicating polio in high-risk regions.
