Patna – Authorities in Patna have commenced the culling of 25 birds after confirmed cases of avian influenza, specifically the H5N1 strain, were detected in the city. The outbreak was identified following laboratory tests conducted on deceased birds, prompting immediate containment measures.
A systematic survey is currently underway within a three-kilometer radius around the Veterinary College, where the infected birds were discovered.
