New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated platform for reporting suspicious claims related to the NEET-UG medical entrance exam. This announcement, made on Saturday, aims to protect aspiring medical students from fraudulent activities.

According to officials, this platform is a precautionary measure in response to past irregularities, including alleged paper leaks in the previous year’s examination. The NTA advises candidates to remain vigilant and avoid being misled by those engaging in malpractice and making false promises.

NTA Director General Pradeep Singh Kharola outlined the three main categories of suspicious activities that candidates can report:

  • Unauthorized websites or social media accounts claiming to provide access to the NEET question paper.

  • Individuals who claim to have access to exam content.

  • Impersonators posing as NTA or government officials.

Kharola stated that the reporting form is user-friendly, allowing individuals to detail their observations, including the location and time of the incident, and to upload supporting documentation. He emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, which seeks to eliminate unfair practices in public examinations and safeguard the future of aspirants.

The NEET-UG exam is scheduled for May 4.
