Noida, March 14, 2025: In a significant public health initiative, Noida is set to commence a Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination program starting March 20, 2025, aiming to prevent cervical cancer among young girls. The program will target girls aged 9 to 26, with an initial batch of 500 students to receive the vaccine.

During a meeting on Thursday, district authorities outlined plans to launch vaccination campaigns across schools. Schools have been directed to obtain parental consent for student participation. The vaccines will be provided free of charge through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. Teachers will also undergo training to educate students and their families about the benefits of vaccination.

Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Renu Agarwal emphasized that timely vaccination could significantly reduce the risk of cervical cancer in girls above the age of 9. This program is part of a district-wide effort to protect young girls from this life-threatening disease.

For those seeking HPV vaccination services in Noida, several healthcare providers offer specialized services. Dr. Pavana H.N. provides cervical cancer screening and vaccination services at Truecare Clinic near Ek Murti Chowk, Noida Extension.  Additionally, The Women Clinic in Sector 20, Noida, offers HPV vaccination among other gynecological services.
