The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to release the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can soon access the answer key, along with their question papers and scanned images of their OMR sheets, on the official NTA website: neet.nta.nic.in.
Exam Details
The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted in a single shift on May 4, 2025, from 2 pm to 5 pm. The examination was held at 5,453 centres across more than 500 cities in India, with over 22.7 lakh candidates registered for the test.
Challenging the Answer Key
According to the NTA’s official information bulletin, candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key. To do so, they must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question they wish to contest. Subject experts will review all objections, and if necessary, the final answer key will be revised accordingly.
“Candidates will be given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per answer challenged, within a specified period,” the NTA stated.
