Jaipur, May 2, 2025 – As the NEET UG 2025 exam approaches, the Rajasthan Police Cyber Crime Branch has issued a stern warning to medical aspirants and their families: Beware of scams claiming to offer leaked exam papers. With the prestigious medical entrance test scheduled for May 4, fraudsters have ramped up their efforts to deceive students by promising early access to question papers in exchange for hefty payments.

No Leak, Just Lies: Authorities Confirm Exam Security

Officials from the Cyber Crime Branch, working in tandem with the National Testing Agency (NTA), have categorically stated that all claims of a NEET 2025 paper leak are entirely false. “The NEET UG examination process is strictly confidential and highly secure, making the possibility of any leak virtually impossible,” said a senior official.

The alert comes after reports surfaced of scammers operating through Telegram and other social media platforms, targeting vulnerable students and parents. One such Telegram channel, “NEET PG Leaked Materials,” has amassed over 20,000 members, with fraudsters demanding between ₹50,000 and ₹70,000 for supposed leaked papers.

Police Urge Vigilance and Caution

Director General of Police Hemant Priyadarshi emphasized the need for caution, warning students not to share sensitive information such as roll numbers or bank details with anyone online. He urged the public to report any suspicious activity-including screenshots, group links, or payment details-to the cyber helpline (1930), the cyber crime reporting portal, or the nearest police station.

Government Steps Up Security

In response to last year’s controversies surrounding exam irregularities and leaks, the Ministry of Education has intensified security measures. District magistrates and superintendents of police across all states and union territories are coordinating to ensure a smooth and secure examination process. Over 23 lakh candidates are expected to sit for the exam at more than 5,000 centres in 550 cities nationwide.

What Should Aspirants Do?

  • Do not trust anyone claiming to have access to NEET 2025 question papers.

  • Do not share personal or financial information with unknown individuals or groups.

  • Report any suspicious messages, links, or payment requests to authorities immediately.
