The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued an urgent advisory to candidates preparing for the NEET-PG 2025, cautioning them about an uptick in fraudulent notices, emails, SMS messages, and social media posts falsely claiming to be from the board.
According to an official notification released on July 10, NBEMS has observed that imposters are distributing bogus communications, often promising exam assistance, leaked question papers, or guaranteed marks. These messages are sometimes sent in the form of forged documents or through social media channels impersonating NBEMS staff.
NBEMS emphasized that it does not send any emails or messages offering help in securing good grades or support with the examination process. All legitimate updates regarding NEET-PG 2025 are available exclusively on the board’s official websites—natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in—and through its verified WhatsApp channel. Since July 2020, all official NBEMS notices also include a QR code, which candidates can scan to verify the authenticity of the communication.
The board has urged candidates to:
-
Double-check any information received about NEET-PG 2025 on the official NBEMS websites.
-
Avoid engaging with or responding to suspicious messages or individuals promising exam-related favors.
-
Report any phishing attempts or fraudulent approaches to NBEMS at [email protected] and to local law enforcement.
The NEET-PG 2025 exam is scheduled for August 3, 2025, in a single shift. Admit cards will be released on July 31, and results are expected on September .
“Candidates are hereby advised not to be allured or misled by unscrupulous agents or touts making false and bogus claims of helping any candidate in any means by such spoofed emails, SMS, or forged documents or social media,” the NBEMS notice stated.
