In a remarkable medical development, a 17-year-old Mumbai resident has reportedly overcome Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) after undergoing a pioneering stem cell-based regenerative treatment.

For three years, Sadhvi battled painful menstrual cycles, persistent acne, and the emotional burden of PCOS—a condition that affects millions of women worldwide and can lead to irregular periods, weight gain, and fatigue. Despite consulting multiple doctors and hospitals, she found only temporary relief from traditional therapies, struggling daily with distress and frustration as her symptoms persisted.

The breakthrough came at StemRx Hospital & Research Centre in Navi Mumbai, under the care of regenerative medicine expert Dr. Pradeep Mahajan. “Women’s health issues like PCOS are often treated only symptomatically. At our center, we focus on treating the root cause,” Dr. Mahajan explained. After a comprehensive evaluation, Sadhvi was found to have not only hormonal imbalances but also nutritional deficiencies and high emotional stress.

Dr. Mahajan’s team initiated a unique therapy combining stem cell treatments and MDI (Microdose Immunomodulation) therapy, aimed at reducing inflammation, restoring hormonal balance, and repairing reproductive tissues. This approach was further complemented by personalized dietary changes and emotional support, empowering Sadhvi to take an active role in her recovery.

“What stood out most was her determination to understand her condition and actively take part in her healing,” Dr. Mahajan said.

With the treatment, Sadhvi soon began experiencing regular menstrual cycles, clearer skin, steady weight loss, and improved energy. Her emotional well-being improved dramatically, allowing her to regain confidence and enjoy life once again. “There were days I couldn’t even get out of bed because of the pain,” Sadhvi recalled. “I felt invisible in my suffering. This therapy gave me hope, care, and a second chance at life”.

Stem cell and regenerative therapies for PCOS and related hormonal conditions are still considered experimental in many parts of the world. Patients should consult qualified healthcare professionals before pursuing any such treatments, and results may differ based on individual health profiles and scientific evidence.
