New Delhi, November 28, 2024 — The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s Health Pavilion, themed ‘One Health’, was honored with the Special Appreciation Medal at the 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) held at Bharat Mandapam. This prestigious recognition celebrates the Pavilion’s innovative design and impactful representation of India’s healthcare milestones and initiatives.
The ‘One Health’ Pavilion highlighted a holistic approach emphasizing the interdependence of human, animal, plant, and ecosystem health. By fostering collaboration across sectors, disciplines, and communities, the initiative aims to address interconnected health and environmental challenges while promoting collective well-being.
Over 14 days, the Pavilion offered an immersive experience with 39 dynamic stalls showcasing the Ministry’s achievements and programs. Visitors explored a wide range of healthcare initiatives spanning life-course health, solutions for communicable and non-communicable diseases, and advancements in preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative care. Additionally, the Pavilion provided free counseling, diagnostic services, and consultations, ensuring accessible healthcare for all attendees.
The Special Appreciation Medal underscores the Ministry’s commitment to creating a holistic and inclusive health system. The Pavilion’s design and content effectively raised awareness of the ‘One Health’ vision, inspiring collaborations to safeguard human, animal, and environmental health.
