The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a revised schedule for Round 1 of the NEET-UG 2025 counselling process, extending the deadlines for registration, choice filling, and seat allotment for candidates under the All India Quota. This decision follows multiple requests from Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates, as well as ongoing court matters.
Key dates in the revised schedule are as follows:

The option to reset registration is available until August 6 at 12 noon.

Payment deadline is August 6, 6:00 pm.

Choice filling closes on August 7 at 8:00 am.

Choice locking window is open from August 6, 8:00 pm to August 7, 8:00 am.

Seat processing will take place on August 7 and 8.

Round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 9.

Candidates must report to their allotted institutes between August 9 and August 18.
Originally, candidates were expected to complete choice filling and locking by August 4, with the seat allotment results announced on August 5. The extension provides PwBD candidates more time to obtain necessary medical certificates from designated centres.
The MCC has also instructed all participating institutions under the All India Quota—including AIIMS, deemed universities, central universities, and BSc Nursing colleges—to cross-verify the tentative seat matrix available on the MCC website. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly check the official MCC portal (mcc.nic.in) for the latest updates and instructions.
