New Delhi, March 16, 2025: BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda inaugurated a Mobile OPD Service on Saturday, marking the 90th birth anniversary of BJP stalwart OP Babbar. The initiative aims to provide essential healthcare services to sanitation workers, underscoring Babbar’s lifelong dedication to public service.

The event witnessed the presence of several senior BJP leaders and dignitaries who paid tribute to Babbar’s enduring contributions to the party and society. Speaking at the inauguration, Nadda commended Babbar’s unwavering commitment to community welfare and party values.

“OP Babbar Ji was a pillar of dedication and service. His life was a testament to the BJP’s core values of sewa (service) and samarpan (dedication). This Mobile OPD Service, aimed at ensuring better healthcare access for sanitation workers, is a fitting tribute to his legacy,” said Nadda.

The OPD on Wheels initiative has been launched by Babbar’s family as a way to honor his memory and continue his mission of serving marginalized communities. Equipped with medical professionals and essential healthcare facilities, the mobile unit will provide check-ups, consultations, and medicines to sanitation workers who often struggle with access to basic healthcare.

Party leaders and attendees expressed appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the significance of improving healthcare accessibility for workers who play a crucial role in maintaining public hygiene and sanitation.
