New Delhi, February 12, 2025: The International Conference on “Innovations in Unani Medicine for Integrative Health Solutions – A Way Forward” successfully concluded yesterday at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Organized by the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the conference was held in hybrid mode as part of the Unani Day 2025 celebrations.
The conference was inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in the presence of Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Ayush and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. The event brought together national and international experts, researchers, and industry stakeholders to discuss the advancements and future of Unani medicine.

Technology Transfer and Recognitions
A major milestone at the conference was the transfer of patented Unani medicine technologies developed by CCRUM. The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), on behalf of CCRUM, transferred two key technologies:
- Unani Toothpaste for Dental Care to Dehlvi Naturals.
- Unani Regimen for Vitiligo to Hamdard Laboratories.
Additionally, the valedictory session saw the release of three books published by CCRUM, three informational videos, and the presentation of appreciation certificates to exhibitors for their contributions.
