Thiruvananthapuram – In a groundbreaking advancement for pediatric rehabilitation, Genrobotics, a leading robotics company, launched India’s first robotic-assisted pediatric gait trainer, the G-Gaiter Pediatric, in Kerala on Friday. Kerala’s Health, Woman and Child Development Minister Veena George officially launched the G-Gaiter Pediatric during a ceremony, handing over the first unit. She announced the installation of the first G-Gaiter Pediatric unit at the state-run Sree Avittam Thirunal (SAT) hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, furthering the state’s commitment to inclusive healthcare.

The G-Gaiter Pediatric is designed to address the needs of over 18 million children in India who face mobility challenges due to conditions like cerebral palsy. Integrated with Advanced Virtual Reality (VR) and interactive games, the device offers an engaging therapy experience for children.
