Gandhinagar, May 30, 2025 — In a significant move to bolster healthcare access for government personnel, the Gujarat government has officially launched the ‘Gujarat Karmayogi Swasthya Suraksha Yojana’. This ambitious initiative aims to provide comprehensive, cashless medical coverage of up to Rs 10 lakh per family for All India Services (AIS) officers, state government officers, employees, and pensioners.
Key Features of the Scheme
Under the new scheme, eligible beneficiaries will be able to avail themselves of cashless medical treatment using a special “G” category card issued under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). The State Health Agency (SHA) is responsible for distributing these cards and overseeing the scheme’s implementation.

Enrollment Process
To enroll, eligible personnel must submit a certificate listing dependent family members, issued by the head of their current office.
