Ahmedabad, March 16 – Gujarat is poised to host the fourth edition of ‘Vande Ayucon 2025’, a landmark conference dedicated to the advancement of Ayurvedic medicine, with a strong focus on digital integration. The event, scheduled for Sunday in Ahmedabad, will bring together leading practitioners and stakeholders to discuss modernization and innovation within the traditional medical system.

Organized by the Gujarat Ayurvedic and Unani Medical System Board, ‘Vande Ayucon 2025’ will serve as a platform to honor distinguished Ayurvedic doctors from Gujarat and introduce cutting-edge initiatives designed to streamline and enhance Ayurvedic practice. A major highlight of the conference will be the launch of a dedicated Outpatient Department (OPD) software, aimed at enabling Ayurvedic practitioners to conduct consultations with greater efficiency and precision.

The event will place significant emphasis on the role of digitalization in Ayurveda, with discussions centered on leveraging technology to modernize and innovate the field. Approximately 500 leading Ayurvedic doctors are expected to attend the conference in person, while an additional 27,000 will connect virtually, underscoring the widespread interest in the event.

Eminent practitioners will conduct lecture sessions aimed at inspiring advancements in Ayurvedic medical practice, sharing their expertise and insights. The conference will also provide expert guidance to participating doctors, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange and professional development.

Gujarat Ayurvedic and Unani Medical System Board Chairman Sanjay Jivrajani highlighted the significant growth of the Ayurvedic sector, noting that the number of Ayurvedic colleges in the state has surged from nine to 42 in the past decade. He attributed this expansion to the increased focus on Ayurveda since Narendra Modi assumed the role of Prime Minister, with Gujarat’s Jamnagar emerging as a pivotal center for Ayurvedic research and medicine production.

‘Vande Ayucon 2025’ aims to not only showcase Ayurveda’s digital transformation but also to strengthen the traditional medical system’s global recognition by providing a platform for doctors to exchange knowledge and experiences.
