The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to release the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session soon, with candidates eagerly awaiting the outcome of the critical examination. The FMGE is a crucial test for foreign-trained medical graduates seeking to practice medicine in India, serving as a mandatory requirement for registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Councils.

According to NBEMS officials, the results for the December 2024 session will be declared by February 12, 2025. However, based on trends from previous years, there is a possibility that the results may be released earlier, potentially in the last week of January.

Once published, the results will be available on the official NBEMS website, and candidates can access their individual scorecards by logging in with their credentials. Along with the results, those who qualify will receive important details regarding the certification process for obtaining provisional or permanent registration with the MCI or State Medical Councils.

To qualify for certification, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 150 marks out of the 300 total marks. The FMGE remains a critical benchmark for ensuring that foreign medical graduates meet the required medical standards for practice in India, making this examination an essential milestone in the career of many aspiring doctors.
