Mumbai witnessed a major milestone in community healthcare as the 4th annual Bollywood Maha Arogya Shivir took place on January 19, 2025, at Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri West. Spearheaded by Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, the event catered to over 57,000 attendees, reaffirming the power of collaboration between healthcare professionals, corporate sponsors, and the community.

The healthcare initiative provided a wide range of free medical services, including general health check-ups, eye tests, and the distribution of Rs. 2.5 crore worth of medicines. Additionally, wheelchairs were provided to those in need, ensuring that accessibility was a key focus of the event.

A highlight of the shivir was the inauguration of a Cardiac Ambulance, facilitated by Mahanagar Gas Limited, reflecting their commitment to strengthening emergency medical services. Bollywood celebrities such as Poonam Dhillon and Upasana Singh graced the event, lending their support and bringing further visibility to the noble cause.

In addition to medical assistance, the event welcomed spiritual and political dignitaries, including Sadguru Shri Dayal Ji and MP Himadri Singh, who emphasized the importance of holistic well-being and public welfare. The contributions of organizations such as the Rotary Club of Mumbai were instrumental, with key members like Rotarian Chetan Desai and President Harneet Anand playing pivotal roles in the event’s execution.
