Mumbai, May 2025:
Popular actress and YouTuber Sambhavna Seth has publicly shared her painful experience of miscarriage, alleging that medical negligence during her IVF treatment was to blame. In an emotional interview with Hindi Rush, Sambhavna recounted the heartbreak she and her husband faced after losing their baby in the third month of pregnancy.
Sambhavna revealed that she and her husband had been trying to conceive since 2024. After finally becoming pregnant, she joyfully documented her journey, even participating in a baby bump photoshoot with plans to announce the news following her third-month scan. However, the scan brought devastating news: her baby had stopped growing 15 days earlier, and she had unknowingly been carrying the loss.
The actress accused her doctor of failing to respond to her repeated complaints of significant pain. “When you transfer the embryo, there is a genetic testing before that, you did not do the same. Basically, it was genetically abnormal. Think what would have happened if this was known in the fifth month,” Sambhavna said, emphasizing the importance of proper genetic screening before embryo transfer.
Sambhavna also stated that her doctor dismissed her pain as arthritis, despite her arthritis specialist later suggesting that upper back pain could be a sign of miscarriage. She expressed frustration that her main doctor did not take her symptoms seriously and, after the miscarriage, referred to the incident as merely “unfortunate” without offering sympathy.
Known for sharing her life openly with fans, Sambhavna has documented her pregnancy journey through YouTube vlogs. She decided to speak out about her experience to raise awareness about the potential complications and importance of attentive care during IVF treatments.
