York, PA – A harrowing hostage situation at UPMC Memorial Hospital ended in bloodshed as law enforcement engaged in a deadly shootout with an armed suspect. Authorities identified the assailant as 49-year-old Diogenes Archangel-Ortiz, who was fatally shot during the confrontation.
