Join the WHO Global Knowledge Network for Health Equity (GKNHE) and the WHO Collaborating Centre on Health in All Policies and the Social Determinants of Health for a webinar focusing on exploring the WHO Operational framework for monitoring social determinants of health equity and using data to inform policies that drive health equity improvements.

Objectives

  • Present the WHO operational framework, including its menu of indicators for monitoring social determinants of health and policies addressing them that improve health equity as well as key areas and actions for implementation.
  • Learn from experts and country partners about monitoring and using data for action to improve health equity, including best practices and lessons to support the implementation of the operational framework in countries.
  • Engage in a Q&A session with experts and country partners with a focus on monitoring and implementing the operational framework to support health equity improvement.

Target audiences

This webinar is intended for national-level decision-makers whose work in different sectors impacts health, including national leaders and officials across a wide range of sectors. The webinar is also relevant to decision-makers in local government, parliaments, health systems, multilateral organizations, civil society, academia, the private sector and to researchers, practitioners and advocates seeking to advance health equity through their work.
