The Uttar Pradesh government has unveiled plans to establish TB Training Demonstration Centres in Lucknow and Gorakhpur, aimed at bolstering the fight against tuberculosis (TB) across the state. These centers will serve as comprehensive hubs offering detailed insights into TB symptoms, treatment methodologies, and extensive training programs tailored for medical professionals and various health workers.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, overseeing the health portfolio, emphasized the strategic significance of these centers in advancing TB eradication initiatives. Stressing the need for an efficient treatment approach, he highlighted the critical role of training for doctors, paramedics, and health workers in curbing the spread of TB.
Pathak urged health officials to prioritize the eradication of TB and cautioned against negligence in treating patients, especially those grappling with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). He emphasized the importance of providing prompt and effective medical care to individuals affected by such ailments.
“Efforts are underway to enhance the resources available at medical colleges, ensuring optimal working conditions for healthcare professionals without any inconvenience. Furthermore, we are dedicated to upgrading medical facilities by integrating modern equipment,” Pathak stated.
In a move aimed at improving dental healthcare accessibility, Pathak announced plans for a dedicated dental unit at the Rudauli Community Health Centre in Ayodhya. With an allocation of Rs 5,82,400, this unit will offer free treatment for various dental ailments, ensuring prompt and comprehensive care for residents in the area.
Pathak stressed the swift completion of this dental healthcare initiative to provide the community with accessible and quality dental treatment, aligning with the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services across Uttar Pradesh.
