Challenges and Barriers in AI-Driven Healthcare

While the report signals an optimistic future for AI in healthcare, it also highlights several challenges, including accessibility issues, workforce shortages, and gaps in healthcare infrastructure. The increasing burden on healthcare systems due to an ageing population and fragmented care delivery are also areas of concern. Furthermore, regulatory frameworks related to data privacy and ethical AI use pose additional hurdles.

Opportunities for Stakeholders

The report suggests that AI, data analytics, and innovative technology can bridge critical healthcare gaps, empower patients, and support healthcare providers in delivering more flexible care models.

Stakeholders are encouraged to collaborate on creating integrated solutions that align with consumer preferences and help alleviate the stress on healthcare infrastructure.
